.Remove fastener nut from ball joint or tie rod end.

.Determine the correct”spread” width needed for removal.

.Using hammer strike handle of fork until joint separates.

.If needed ,with separator fork in place and under pressure,strike the housing that holds the ball joint or tie rod end to remove part.
